A 10-step Program to Building Your Personal Immunity Program

- Build a strong immune system by eating an anti-inflammatory diet. Eat 10 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables a day. Avoid processed foods, flours and sugars. When your immune system is under press or buy pressed juices. Smoothies are good options too. Especially orange, red, yellow, and greens. - Defend and strengthen your immune system with antioxidants Micronutrient food and supplement sources (Vitamins A, C, D, E, Zinc, Selenium, etc) Food sources include dark leafy greens, nuts seeds, legumes, pomegranate, juices, green or red powders. Elderberry Tonic. Eat the rainbow. 10-12 servings of fruits and vegetables a day
- Rejuvenate your immune system with enzymes-digestive and systematic, food sources and proteolytic enzymes. Proteolytic enzymes help reduce the inflammatory response. These help reduce overactive-immune response. These are only available through specific vitamin formulas prescribed by naturopaths.
- Renew your cells with detoxification based on naturopathic principles and nutrients to alkalize and detoxify organs. Eating an alkaline plant based diet. Also eating more nutrient dense foods. Participate in my Nutritional Cleanse Program.
- Manage inflammation- restore innate immune response, natural approaches to reducing inflammation, (curcumin, quercetin, fish oils, support adrenals) Nourish energy deficiency which contributes to low immunity-ashwagandha, astragalgus, mushroom complexes are good but not during deeper phases of illness. Integrate ginger turmeric tonic.
- Boost your immunity with natural immune enhancers, what helps regulate the immune system- whey protein, natural immunoglobins, probiotics, mushroom complexes
- Target viruses with natural antivirals- astralagus root, Andrographis, rhodiola, elderberry, cats claw, echinacea, olive leaf, oregano, garlic, colloidal silver, oscillococcium, goldenseal, garlic, grapefruit seed extract. Megadose vitamin C when you get hit with a virus. Take Vitamin C every few hours until your bowels start moving too quickly.
- Use a mind-body wellness practice for balancing the mind-body system, rest and sleep are essential the body cannot restore without REM sleep. Medications and alcohol interfere with the deep phase of sleep. Sleep is your best defense for staying well.
